About

The International Society of Intelligent Unmanned Systems (ISIUS) was established to promote the advancement of robotics for humanitarian missions. The initial members of the society comprise some 650 scientists and researchers actively working on the field of unmanned systems for ground, underwater, aerial and space applications. The society has organized its flagship conference for the last 20 years hosted in different major cities of the world: Seoul, Bali, Nanjing, Tokyo, Singapore, Jaipur, Montreal, Xian, Taiwan, Jeju Island, Beijing, Ho Chi Minh, Tokushima, Adelaide and Bandung. It has been planned that the future conference also rotate to European countries to increase the impact of the society.

Targeted Impact of ISIUS

ISIUS is committed to creating a thriving global ecosystem that fosters the advancement of intelligent unmanned systems by connecting research excellence with real-world industrial needs. By bridging academic innovation and industry application, ISIUS plays a vital role in accelerating technology transfer and enabling impactful solutions across sectors.

The society also advocates for the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) within unmanned systems, ensuring that technological progress aligns with societal values.

In parallel, ISIUS actively promotes the democratization of knowledge and the inclusivity of education and opportunities, especially in developing regions, by making its conferences, publications, and collaborations accessible to a broader, more diverse community.

Through its programs and partnerships, ISIUS aims to shape a future where unmanned systems contribute positively to sustainable development, equity, and human well-being.
